Over 2500 exhibitors, including more than 300 new companies and representatives will gather in Las Vegas this week to display, announce and unveil the latest and most innovative entertainment technologies, applications, games and software before they hit the market.

Known and the largest consumer technology trade show on the planet, the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show  (CES) will run from Thursday, January 7th to Sunday, January 10th at Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas Hilton and The Venetian Resort and Casino. Attendees will have the chance to see, test and preview more than 20,000 new products on display, and enjoy 20 market-specific TechZones located throughout the Las Vegas Convention Center.

According to the show organizers, home and personal entertainment technology and connectivity and mobile devices will dominate this year’s International Consumer Electronics Show (ICES) exhibit floor. Electronic giants such as Samsung, LG Electronics, VIZIO, Sony and Matsushita (Panasonic, Sanyo, Toshiba, Sharp) are some of the companies exhibiting products such as 3D TVs and Blu-ray players, 72-inch borderless-TV models, 150-inch 3D projectors, Back Lit LCD TV’s, and many more. Magnetic 3D, the global-leader in glasses-free, auto-stereoscopic 3d solutions, will also unveil its 2010 product line at the Consumer Electronics Show, and will also host an invitation-only showcase at the Palazzo Resort and Casino in where guests will be able to experience and enjoy Magnetic’s “Ditch the 3D Glasses” technology.

Tablet and mini computers with “on screen”  keyboards and more powerful processors, game consoles, digital imaging products and wireless HD devices are also expected to be among the “most wanted” items at this week’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Lenovo, Intel, Nokia, HTC, Microsoft, Sonic Solutions, MSI, Sirius, Horizon, TranSwitch, Google, Beejive, ViewSonic, Logitech, Palm, Dell, T Mobile, JVC, Oppo Digital, Direct Tv, Motorola, Texas Instruments, ASUS, Nvidia and many more, will unveil the latest in portable computers, electronic book readers and mobile communications technology.

This year’s CES is also hosting a series of “green”conferences, keynotes and green gadget shows and demonstrations to present the latest in energy efficient and eco friendly products, as well as power-management devices, smart-energy-saving appliances, and more tools for managing your own power consumption. The show’s governing body, the Consumer Electronics Association, has also promised to buy carbon offsets and donate $50,000 to the Las Vegas police department to buy new electric vehicles.

The 2010 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the largest consumers electronic trade show and exhibition in the world, will be back in Las Vegas from January 7-10th to present the latest video, audio, digital imaging, computers, entertainment, video games and mobile communications technology in the industry.

The annual event held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas Hilton and the The Venetian Resort and Casino, will bring more than 2,500 CES exhibitors involved in the design, development, manufacturing, distribution and integration of consumer electronics products.

The 2010 International CES will host 20 market-specific TechZones throughout the Las Vegas Convention Center. These TechZones will highlight the latest in 3D Technology, Digital Health, eBooks, Netbooks, Robotics and much more.  The 2010 CES will host new CE Spotlights on the show floor, offering diverse exhibits for a variety of consumer technology markets. Digital Imaging Showcase featuring all aspects of the imaging product category, EHX@CES, in where visitors can learn more about custom and consumer electronics products and services for designers, installers and integrators who service the residential and commercial markets; iLounge Pavilion featuring iPod, iPhone and Macintosh related products and technologies; Living in Digital Times, which turns the concept of a traditional exhibit upside-down with focus on technology that’s relevant to particular lifestyles and many more.

Other must-see attractions at the 2010 CES include: The Gaming Showcase featuring gaming hardware and software with the entire range of consumer electronics products, from online PC and HD gaming, plasma HDTV and home theater furniture to surround sound and power conditioning hardware; Location Based Services(LBS), which includes the Safe Driver TechZone, serves as the premiere location for providers of custom technologies, services and advertising sent to portable and in-car navigation devices, based on their current locations; and Sustainable Planet the hot spot for world-changing technologies, whether benefiting the environment, utilizing new forms of sustainable energy, renewing our resources, or contributing to the development of nations both on and off the grid.

The CES program also features more than 250 conference sessions with 800 speakers and industry’s experts, as well as a series of keynote sessions featuring representatives from Ford, Nokia, Hisense, Intel and Microsoft. Some of the speakers attending the keynote sessions are Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer (January 6th, 6:30 p.m. Las Vegas Hilton, Hilton Center), Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) President and CEO Gary Shapiro, Ford President and CEO Alan Mulally (January 7th, 8:30 a.m. Las Vegas Hilton, Hilton Center), and Intel President and CEO Paul Otellini (January 7th, 4:30 p.m. Las Vegas Hilton, Hilton Center).

Over two dozen Las Vegas hotels will serve as the official 2010 CES hotels and will offer exhibitors and attendees special rates during the annual Consumer Electronics Show. The best Chinese restaurateurs from around the world will gather at the Venetian Resort and Casino on January 3-5, 2010 to attend the 6th Annual Top 100 Chinese Restaurants in the USA  Awards Show and Conference.

The event organized by Chinese Restaurant News and sponsored by Kikoman, National Restaurant Association and Venetian and Palazzo Resort, recognizes, cultivates and preserves the best in Chinese cuisine, and will bring chefs from Mainland China, Taiwan and Canada and U.S. Chefs for a series of demonstrations and cooking events. Leading chefs from the San Francisco Bay Area’s Asian Chefs Association, including Chef Lawrence Chu, Sr., Khai Duong, and special guest Chef Theresa Lin, will co-host the show, and lead more than a dozen acclaimed chefs from around the world in a special dinner celebration.

Both international and U.S. chefs will take part in a Chinese culinary show of noodle pulling and fruit carving to highlight the finer side of Chinese cuisine. Celebrity Chef Lee Ann Wong and Master Chef Martin Yan will reveal the final rankings on Sunday, January 3.
