e8e6b9a7dajack 1 Florida Gators V Cincinnati Bearcats in 2010 Sugar BowlFor all ya’ll wondering how pissed the Gators were after losing to Alabama and miss out on the national championship game, we’ll find out soon enough.

Because on January 1, the Florida Gators will take out all their frustrations on the 2010 Sugar Bowl, where they take on the Cincinnati Bearcats. Yes, it doesn’t look good for the undefeated Bearcats people.

To say that the Florida Gators are feakin’ pissed could very well be an understatement. This year was supposed to be Tim Tebow’s last hurrah as he came back to Florida to play his senior year looking to win one more national championship with the Gators.

tim_tebowInstead, the Alabama Crimson Tide spoiled any plans they have of another trip to the BCS title game when the Tide claimed the 2009 SEC title. Tim Tebow will now leave Florida on a sour note, having missed out on winning the national championship in his final year as a Gator.

Of course, before he leaves the college ranks to probably get drafted by the Buffalo Bills, he still has a shot of giving Florida one more hardware, the Sugar Bowl. That is if he can lead the Gators to a win over the 12-0 Cincinnati Bearcats.

The problem is, the Cincinnati Bearcats are looking to take out some frustrations they may have as well. You see, this team went a perfect 12-0 through the season, yet, they still didn’t get the invite to play in the national championship game.

Betting on the 2010 BCS Bowl Games this January? SPORTSBETTING.com has you covered of course.Water coolers and sports talk radio hosts can rejoice once again this year, as the BCS system has people bemoaning the lack of a true playoff system in college ball.

In case you didn’t know it yet, the Alabama Crimson Tide pulled off a tidy upset of the No.1 Florida Gators last Saturday, moving into the 2010 BCS national championship game. Listed anywhere from as 5.5-point underdogs up to +7, ‘Bama was getting only about 30 percent of all the betting action by kick-off, according to online sportsbook SPORTSBETTING.com.

Bettors took a hit when the Tide defense did a number on Gator QB Tim Tebow en route to a 32-13 win.

Now Nick Saban and the rest of the Alabama Crimson Tide will prepare to play the Texas Longhorns, who were much less convincing in their BCS title berth showcase.

texas_longhornsComing into last week ranked No.3 by the BCS, the Texas Longhorns were set for one of the national championship spots, facing the No.22 Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Big 12 title game. Texas was in a ”win and you’re in” scenario, kicking off as 14-point favorites.

It was hardly a convincing win, as Texas struggled throughout, but they did manage to eke out a 13-12 win to claim the conference championship. Texas bettors were never really in a spot to cover the two touchdowns all game and moneyline bettors were fortunate to get even the straight up win.

The near-loss to the Cornhuskers didn’t matter to…

Oregon Ducks V Ohio State Buckeyes in 2010 Rose Bowl

e8e6b9a7dajack 116 Oregon Ducks V Ohio State Buckeyes in 2010 Rose BowlThe irresistible force meets the immovable object.

No, it’s not Hulk Hogan versus Andre the Giant all over again but the 2010 Rose Bowl. Oregon’s irresistible running game, averaging 236 yards per contest, takes on Ohio State’s immovable defense that has only given up a measly 83.7 yards to the opposing team.

Well, something’s got to give and this Rose Bowl game between the Oregon Ducks and the Ohio State Buckeyes could very well decide which is really important in winning championships, defense or offense?

ohio_state_buckeyesThe Ohio State Buckeyes have always been the better team every single time they went up against Oregon. The Buckeyes have been so dominant that they haven’t been defeated by any Oregon Ducks team for seven straight contests.

Yes, Ohio State is 7-0 all-time against Oregon, which makes betting on the Ducks at the Rose Bowl a little bit harder to fathom.

Of course, if you’re a Ducks fan, you’d be happy to know that these two teams haven’t played each other since 1987 and a lot of improvements have been made by the Ducks since then. Oregon now has a formidable running game that ranks sixth overall in the nation and as good as that offense has been, their defense isn’t so bad either.

Oregon has only surrendered 329 yards per game, which ranks…

2009 College Football Week 13 Gambling Guide

seth-edward-oneal.jpgWhich teams will play for a BCS bowl game?

We’ll know soon enough. But right now, we have games for you to bet on for Week 13 of the 2009 NCAA college football season.

First we have the Oklahoma State Cowboys looking for their fourth straight victory as they battle the Oklahoma Sooners. The 12th Cowboys are on a roll with three straight wins, getting a huge lift from quarterback Zac Robinson.

He set an Oklahoma State record last season by completing 65 percent of his passes and still has a shot at achieving that mark again, completing 158 of 249 passes for a .635 completion percentage in 2009. Also stepping up for the Cowboys is running back Keith Toston. Since taking over as Oklahoma State’s featured rusher, the guy has averaged 103.6 yards.

arkansas_razorbacksOn the other hand, the Oklahoma Sooners will try to rebound from a 41-13 loss against Texas Tech. With the loss, Oklahoma (6-5, 4-3) now has its most losses since going 7-5 in 1999. It was just the fifth victory in 17 meetings for Texas Tech against the Sooners, and the Red Raiders had never won by more than 10 points in the series.

The huge win was a stunning reversal from last season, when the Sooners crushed Texas Tech 65-21 to end the Red Raiders’ national championship hopes. Oklahoma hadn’t lost this badly since falling to Texas 45-12 in 2005.

Expect the Sooners to bounce back against the…

Texas Longhorns vs. Texas A&M Aggies on Thanksgiving

seth-edward-oneal.jpgWhat, you thought you won’t have some Thanksgiving action on the college gridiron?

The second-ranked and unbeaten Texas Longhorns are just two steps away from playing for the national title this 2009 NCAA college football season. Of course, they need to take care of business on Thanksgiving night first against Texas A&M and then win the Big 12 title game next week against Nebraska.

You read it, the Texas Longhorns and the Texas A&M Aggies will play each other on Thanksgiving. The college football odds favor Texas on Thursday against A&M in this game that can be seen on ESPN, but the Aggies have been no pushover this season, especially at home.

The Texas Longhorns are 21-point favorites at SBG Global.

colt_mccoyThe Texas A&M Aggies rolled to a 38-3 victory last week against Baylor that made them bowl eligible. They have the offensive firepower to at least give Texas cause for concern and the Aggies are playing at home.

”It’s going to be fast and crazy,” said A&M defensive back Jordan Pugh. ”You’ve got to savor the moment. You have no choice. All of us as seniors have to savor this moment and get this win.”

The Aggies defeated Texas in 2006 and in 2007 but they were blown out last year in Austin.

The Texas Longhorns have been focused all season as only…
